Castle Continuing Care is an abstinence-based residential company which actively facilitates recovery from chemical dependency or abuse. The 12-Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (and other programs such as NA/CA/CMA) provide an effective framework to continue living a sober and fulfilling life after completing a formal treatment program. Castle staff works with local IOPs (Intensive Outpatient Programs) to offer residents continuing support in their recovery, should that be part of their treatment Exit Plan recommendation.

“Keeping it simple,” as a model borrowed from AA, means embracing a conversational approach (as opposed to a confrontational approach) in terms of meeting attendance and formal house rules. Our negotiated house rules are part of a collaborative effort to steer residents in their own sober journey. This “boutique” and personalized mindset enables residents a large degree of ownership and involvement in their own recovery process.
